Crozier - An American Hero
Capt. Brett Crozier, who was in command of the U.S.S. Roosevelt, relieved of duty by Acting Secretary of the Navy Thomas Modly for saving the lives of 5,000 sailors on board the carrier.
Crozier was dismissed because he feared for the safety of 5,000 sailors under his command aboard the U.S.S. Roosevelt because many sailors came down with COVID-19, and all of the other sailors were endangered by the closeness and the proximity of all the other sailors with those to who were already infected.
As of April 2020, there has been one death and 615 that tested positive for Covid-19 of which four are in ICU. The reported positive cases continue to increase as more sailors are tested.
The truth is obvious if Crozier did not write the letter that initiated the seriousness of the spread of the infection on the U.S.S. Roosevelt, many lives of the sailors, who are fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, and grandkids, would have died.
We salute Captain Crozier and want the world to know he is a "True American Hero."
